This Privacy Policy explains how KRONOS (“KRONOS”, “we”, “us” or “our”), operated by legal entity name, to be confirmed, collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use our websites, our app, accounts, memberships, customer support and other KRONOS online services that link to this Policy.

Certain KRONOS products or services may involve additional types of data or processing. Where a product-specific privacy notice is provided, that notice supplements this Policy and applies to that product or service.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use KRONOS, we may collect:

  • Identity and contact information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing address and delivery address.
  • Account information, such as login details, account preferences and membership status.
  • Order and transaction information, such as products purchased, order history, payment status, refunds and delivery information.
  • Payment-related information. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Depending on the provider, KRONOS may receive limited payment information rather than your full card details.
  • Customer support information, including messages, requests, complaints, returns and other communications with us.
  • Technical and usage information, such as device type, browser, IP address, pages viewed, referral source and interactions with our website.
  • Cookie and similar technology information used for essential website functions, analytics, preferences and, where enabled, marketing.
  • Marketing preferences, including whether you want to receive promotional communications.
  • Feedback, survey responses and reviews that you choose to provide.

The KRONOS is not intended to collect detailed medical or health information through ordinary commerce functions. If a KRONOS product requires health, physiological, scan or research-related information, we will provide additional information about that processing where appropriate.

2. How we collect information

We may collect information:

  • directly from you when you create an account, place an order, join a membership, contact us, complete a form or submit a review;
  • automatically when you use our website or store, through cookies and similar technologies;
  • from service providers involved in payments, delivery, fraud prevention, analytics, customer support or other business operations; and
  • from other sources where permitted by law and where appropriate notice or consent has been provided.

3. How we use personal information

We may use personal information to:

  • provide, operate and improve the KRONOS website, KX2 app, accounts and memberships;
  • process orders, payments, deliveries, returns and refunds;
  • manage customer accounts and provide customer support;
  • communicate with you about orders, service updates, security or account matters;
  • personalize website or store experiences where appropriate;
  • understand how our websites and services are used and improve performance and usability;
  • prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents and other harmful activity;
  • comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting and record-keeping obligations;
  • send marketing communications where permitted by law and in line with your choices; and
  • establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

Where required by applicable law, we rely on an appropriate legal basis for processing, such as performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, our legitimate interests, or your consent.

4. Marketing communications

We may send product news, offers or other marketing communications where permitted by law. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or by contacting us. Service messages relating to an order, account, safety issue or other necessary operational matter may still be sent.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

KRONOS may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the website functioning, remember preferences, understand website performance and support analytics or marketing. Where required, you will be given choices about non-essential cookies. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings, although disabling some cookies may affect website functionality.

6. How we share information

We may share personal information only where reasonably necessary, including with:

  • payment processors and financial service providers;
  • fulfilment, logistics, shipping and delivery partners;
  • website hosting, cloud, security, communications, analytics and customer-support providers;
  • professional advisers, auditors, insurers and legal advisers;
  • regulators, law-enforcement bodies, courts or other authorities where required or permitted by law; and
  • a buyer, investor or other relevant party in connection with a merger, financing, reorganisation, sale of assets or similar corporate transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not disclose personal information to third parties simply because they request it. Where applicable law treats certain advertising technologies as a ‘sale’ or ‘sharing’ of personal information, we will provide any legally required notices and choices.

7. International data transfers

KRONOS and its service providers may process personal information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers and take reasonable steps to ensure that personal information receives an appropriate level of protection.

8. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide services, maintain business and transaction records, meet legal or regulatory requirements, resolve disputes and protect our rights. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the reason it is held.

When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable legal, backup, security and record-keeping requirements.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical, organisational and administrative safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal information. These may include the right to request access, correction or deletion; withdraw consent; object to or restrict certain processing; request portability; or make a complaint to a relevant privacy authority.

You may also manage marketing preferences, cookie choices and certain account information directly through available settings or by contacting us.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. Some rights are subject to legal exceptions, including where we must retain information for legal, fraud-prevention, transaction or security purposes.

11. Children

The KX2 and KRONOS is intended for adults who are able to enter into contracts. We do not knowingly use the website or app to collect personal information from children in a manner prohibited by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us improperly, please contact us.

12. Third-party websites and services

Our websites may link to third-party websites, payment services, social platforms or other services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and KRONOS is not responsible for their independent privacy practices.

13. Product-specific notices

Some KRONOS products may involve additional data, including physiological, scan-derived, research or other product-specific information. Where this occurs, we may provide a separate or supplemental privacy notice explaining the relevant data flows, purposes, retention, choices and safeguards.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice, such as updating the date at the top of this page or providing an additional notice where required.
